It's FALL Portrait Party Time!
What is a Portrait Party??
Portrait parties are an wonderful opportunity for you and your friends to have professional portraits made in a fun and affordable way. Portrait Parties take place in your home (if you are the host) or any other suitable location(such as your local park). The host invites between 8 and 12 families to the party and for the hosts hard work enjoys credits toward portraits for hosting. It is a low stress fun opportunity to have beautiful portraits made of yourself or your children in a low pressure, relaxed atmosphere.
How do Portrait Parties work?
The Portrait Party is organized by the party Host. Hosts provide the location, coordinate the hors'doeuvres, drinks, activities, the guest list and scheduling the 20 minute session times. Guests enjoy a good time, a in expensive portrait session($20 for up to 2 children includes a 8x10) and their children enjoy a short and concise sitting. Everyone involved will have a good time and the children will actually look forward to the next party! After the party, the guests will visit an Online Gallery to view and order their portraits. After all guests have ordered the host will then be able to place an order based on credits from their guests purchases.
How do I schedule a Portrait Party?
First look at all the forms so you know what you and your guests will need to do to put the party together. Then contact me to ensure availability - you might put together several prospective dates to ensure everyone's schedules match up - and to find out everything you need to know to have a super successful party.
If I host a Portrait Party what are my responsibilities?
A Portrait party is organized by the Host. The Host is the key ingredient to a successful party. Hosts invite guests, coordinate the bringing of snacks and drinks (if not providing themselves) and the scheduling of sessions. Hosts follow up with their guests with reminders and to ensure that every session block is filled to get the most portrait credits possible.
After the party, the guests will visit an online gallery to view their portraits. Hosts collect orders from their guests and 4-6 weeks later deliver the final products to them. After all guests have ordered the host will then be able to place an order based on credits from their guests purchases. Please contact me for more information.
Should my portrait party be a certain theme?
I highly recommend it! That way you can hold different parties all year long to earn those credits for your own family pictures. For this session, I recommend a Fall or Halloween them. I will bring a pumpkin or 2 and a large block of hay and we are set!

Mini Portrait Sessions are a great way to help make portrait photography more affordable to some! I will only offer these at various times during the year so sign check my blog often to sign up.
What is a Mini Portrait Session?
You simply pay half the amount of a normal child or family session and the photographer spends half of the time of a normal child or family session with you and you view half of a normal child or family session proofs in an online gallery.

Session Fees
All returning clients will get $25 off their session.
All on location shots that are 25 miles or more from my home will have a $25+fee.
Child Session Fee $150
This session is for 2 children(parent included at no fee). For each additional child add $25. This session usually lasts about 1 hour. Expect to view 10-20 proofs in an online gallery. For each additional child I spend more time and you will receive an additional 5-10 proofs.
Newborn Session $300
This session is for a newborn & parents only. For each additional child add $25. This session usually lasts any where from 2-3.5 hours. This allows for feedings, diaper changes, soothing and placing baby to sleep. I edit the best 10-20 shots. The best age for newborns is 2 weeks or younger. Parents should bring black long sleeved shirts and/or black tank top for Mom OR solid white.
Maternity/Newborn Session $400
This includes an hour long maternity session either in the studio or on location. Best around 34-36 weeks along. This also includes a newborn session(see above). Best before two weeks old. This also includes 25 birth announcements with envelopes. Full payment is due during the time of the maternity session.
My First Year Session-$1195
This includes 1 Newborn Session and 4 Child Sessions(3 month,6 month, 9 month and 1st Birthday). This also includes a Custom Hardcover Book of your child's first year, 25 Birth Announcements and 25 1st Birthday Invitations with envelopes. Expect to view 10-20 color proofs in an online gallery after each session. Full payment is due during the time of the Newborn Session.
Family Session $225
This session is for a family of up to 6 people. For each additional person add $25 This session usually lasts up to 90 minutes. Expect to view 15-25 color proofs in an online gallery.

-An 8.3% sales tax will be applied to all Arizona residents orders.
-The Session fee is due atleast 1 week prior to your session day or your appointment will be cancelled so that someone else may have that time slot. You may reschedule the appointment within 3 months of the cancellation date. The rest of the fee is due the day of your session. Once the session has occur the session fee is non refundable. If you are unhappy with your proofs due to error on the photographers part, one reshoot will be scheduled.
-Session fees/Print Orders can be broken down into 3 equal payments as long as ALL 3 payments are received 1 week prior to your session.
-At this time, I accept credit cards or banking account payments through Paypal OR you can mail you deposit to me. Checks are accepted but the check must clear for the FULL payment before your session date.
